Check out Nero’s comic, ULTRAVIOLENTS (https://uv.itsnero.com/) [This comic is 18+]
A near-future body horror webcomic about two men who use underground blood sports and body modification as therapy.

As you can see, Nero’s got some stylish art, and that’s especially true in ULTRAVIOLENTS with the strong usage of grayscale. Nero’s got a great sense of anticipation and storytelling and some juicy linework that I love to look at.

This week is this lovely illustration from Jay! They’re the reason I’m on hiatus, because they’re my fiancee. What a jerk. I really love the way they do orderly prints like this, it’s very cool
Jay doesn’t have a comic of their own, but they do make supplements for D&D and small tabletop games.

on a side note, unfortunately I’m going to have to extend the break a little longer. Sorry! I’m trying desperately to finish up what I need to for the next chapter, but it’s going to be a beast of a chapter and I want it to be really solid before I start on it.
See you soon!
I’m absolutely in love with this illustration, which was done by Emil, who writes and illustrates the gorgeous Dead Scholars’ Whispers!
Dead Scholars’ Whispers is a lovely comic about some thieves and rogues and librarians with some really gorgeous colors and character designs I’m in love with. Emil’s characters also have a liveliness to them that I adore! Definitely go check it out, I’m excited to see where this one goes!
This fantastic bonus comic was written and illustrated by Christina Major, creator of the exciting and hilarious Sombulus!
Christina also has a store with some D&D merch, which I’d definitely check out if you have a fondness for dungeons and/or dragons: Check out the store!

Sombulus follows the adventures of three quirky adventurers as they travel between worlds and cause a little more chaos everywhere they go. One of my favorite things about this comic is that every character makes a strong impression and the writing is really solid. Also, if you like Toivo, I think you’ll like the main character in this one too. They’re definitely cut from the same cloth.
Today’s gorgeous bonus art is done by keiiii, creator of the fantastic Heart of Keol!
Heart of Keol is a really heartwarming story of a boy named Ethan who gets sent from earth to an entirely different world called Keol. It’s got really fascinating world-building and a great cast of characters. If you like quiet stories about friendship and families, check this one out!
Also, I love the ghosts on this illustration, and it’s really just at testament to Keiiii’s beautiful coloring and wonderful shapes. *chef’s kiss*
