Lock the cleric away too before he catches self-sacrificial disease too.
He does not need to face her alone, but he would be an excellent bait. Of course Vivianne knows that and her side has numerical superiority now.
BTW, an interesting aspect that I do not remember ever seeing a state or country in the background in this comic. One would think some kind of army should be fighting the monsters in this situation, even if they fail. But either there is no such thing or the higher level organization of society has already disintegrated or annihilated?
