Hmmm … I’m interested to know what it is that is ‘incorrect’ about Toivo’s methods, if he’s figured out how to make them work.

I think what is meant is that Tovio had decades to make mistakes and improve to get to the “correct” way of casting.

More like he made his own “correct” way. Serule doesn’t seem to think Toivo’s casting is conventional… or entirely safe/effective. It would just be impossible for Toivo to unlearn his messy methods because he’s been using them so dang long (and he’s too stubborn). Rosemary on the other hand…

This is not a D&D comic, but in D&D terms it sounds like Toivo is more like akin to a sorcerer than a wizard and Mr. True Wizard (TM) here does not like that. So there is a possibility that at least some of what Serule sees as a shortcoming of Toivo, is actually not a bug but a feature.

That is not to make excuses for Rosemary’s messed up teapot however. Also Serule is braver than I thought if he is going to drink that.

Gosh sounds like remedial handwriting

Can a not boring montage be made regarding remedial handwriting?

Incidentally there have been a number of articles regarding the reintroduction of cursive and how letter size as the primary metric improves handwriting legibility much more than letter form.
