I really hope this does end well especially if something bad does happen later.
honestly both points are very valid but there’s a slight flaw in aidan’s logic in that toivo is going to watch him grow old anyway, whether they’re in a romantic relationship or not, because they’re still friends. like i get where he’s coming from but toivo never stopped loving him so even if they didn’t back together he’d still grieve just as strongly
