on that note — I like how bright the impact flash in the first panel is. Really captures the effect of seeing stars.

I love that you’re tackling this kind of thing. In stories that have characters with wildly different lifespans, I’m always curious how that affects their friendships/other relationships. It’s sad, but there’s something about it that resonates with me.
